Being specialized at English does good to you in every aspect draft 1
Being specialized at English does good to you in every aspect. To begin with, being bilingual qualifies you as an appropriate person to be sent abroad to trade with foreign companies, which allows you to broaden your horizons, contact different cultures, and become a more experienced person. What's more, you're likely to be exalted to a higher position with your superiority in language to others. This enables you to lead a comfortable life. Next, at your leisure time, you can enjoy movies and novels in English without translation. You have the chance to make foreign pen pals on the Internet as well. Moreover, language is no longer an obstacle as you purchase ethnic goods or download music from American websites. Last, since learning English has become an inevitable trend for modern people, you can travel to anywhere communicating with people the world over. To sum up, it pays to learn English, right?

An unforgettable experience draft2
Never will I trade this special memory for anything. It was six years ago that my partners and I took part in the national field and track competition lasting for five days in Tai Dong. Our first day was spent on bus admiring the beauty of Tai Dong-the breathtaking view. The magnificent mountains whose top were covered with fog was bordered by the streams. We were so stunned at the view that no one felt like talking the last leg of our trip. We broadened our horizons the next day. First, we encountered excellent competitors who became our friends later from various cities and learned how to perfect our skills. Second, we had the chance to see the pole jump with our own eyes. By the way, we even responded with warm applauses as they broke the record. Last, we experienced the night light of Tai Dong where was filled with surprises, including street entertainers and concerts. It was the third day that we lived up to our teacher’s expectation-we got number four in one race. And what was better, we went to a nice steak shop to celebrate it. At that moment, I heard my inner voice yell” Life doesn’t get much better than this.” Our trip ended with satisfaction after taking pictures the last day. This experience not only remains vivid in my mind but leaves a valuable memory that can never be erased.

A dream I had draft 2
I bet that everyone has had nightmares, and I’m no exception. It was last week that I had an indescribable dream. On a certain bleak night, I myself went to a night market to kill time. However, as I looked around, I found a scary scene that all the passers-by there were unique. In other words, they seemed to have some unusual behaviors. Some of them floated in the air.Others stared at me with their one-almond-shaped eye. Still others kept casting spells on one another. Moreover, I saw vendors go all way out to sell their goods ,including liver, brain, etc. To make matters worse, I was talked into buying a bottle of fresh blood which was on sale. Suddenly, I felt a chill crept over me. So I decided to run way. Nevertheless, when I managed to escape from this ridiculous place, a human was all smiles approaching me. Even if he was smiling; I could sense hostility in his smiles. And it proved to be true. He took out his gun pointing at me, and pulled the trigger…"Boom" Did I survive? No, I was awoken by the thunderstorm. After I pondered it over, a conclusion came to my mind – Never read horror films before your bed time.

Making decisions draft2
Growing up means making up my own decisions. In other words, I am supposed to be mature enough to cope with what I’ve done. No longer am I a naïve child, so I should learn to be independent and responsible. Furthermore, I ought to have much knowledge to tell right from wrong and make the proper decisions. I think by doing so, I feel that I am myself, I belong to myself.
The hardest decision that I ever made was whether to study in a vocational school or not. On the one hand, my teacher thought highly of me and persuaded me to study in senior high school. On the other hand, I had difficulty learning math. Therefore, I was at a loss about my future then. After considering it over and over again, I made a final decision-NTCVS. Now, as I look back, I never regret. Because I know that there’s no perfect choice. Every choice has its pros and cons. Above all, “this is my decision.”

Computers draft 2
Computers are playing an important role in our daily life. With it, we can not only keep in contact with the current news but get the information on all subjects. Furthermore, it is such a useful tool that can be used in all kinds of jobs. For instance, a weatherman is able to use the computer to predict the weather condition more precisely. And teachers are capable of teaching children living in a faraway region by “distance learning”. All in all, computer is the most influential invention of the twentieth century.
Personally, I have a liking for computers, for it benefits me deeply. Firstly, it enables me to broaden my horizons by surfing the internet. Secondly, with the function of MSN , I can keep in touch with our close friends and relatives that I haven’t met in a long period of time. Thirdly, in addition to using it on those things, it is also a wonderful tool for entertaining. For example, I would browse the net to kill time and read comics to loosen up myself. In conclusion, I won’t lead such a splendid life without it.

Autobiography draft2 (3~4)
Not realizing the importance of studying, I paid all my attention to running in elementary school. And all my efforts paid off; I have ever taken part in national competition getting an unforgettable trip. Nevertheless, I started to lose enthusiasm as the time went by. So I put schoolwork as my priority instead and gradually above the average in junior high school. Now I major in English in NTCVS. But being eager to learn more languages, I join a Japanese club. Besides, I passed the fourth level of Japanese this year. By the way, I think the big difference we encounter here is that teachers don't force us to study. What they care is attitude, for it decides our failure and success. They want us to look on the bright side as well. Our rector once said that our dictionaries contains every words without impossible. He told us to divide impossible into “I'm possible”. Hence, I do learn happily there and keep the top three. I am also elected to be the model student this year. All in all, what we learn here is that “attitude is everything”.
I'll face the entrance exam by and by. I have had my heart set on to major in foreign languages, because being proficient in foreign language gives me an edge in today's job market. I bet that I'll put my best foot forward to achieve it, and someday become a useful person.

Autobiography draft2 (1~2)
In the year of 1989, I was born in a calm day as a first daughter in Chang family. My name is Pi- Fang Chang (張碧芳). I’m a seventeen-year-old girl living in Tainan County with my four family members, including father, mother, grandmother and sister. My father who is humorous enjoys speaking poor English with me. He wants me not to be afraid of making mistakes, for I can always learn something from them. My mom who is fond of reading teaches me how to tell right from wrong. My grandmother is the person who is highly respected on account of her wisdom and her attitude toward life. My sister giving me useful advice is like my friend. And I’m an industrious student studying in National Tainan Commercial Vocational Senior High School. Everyone plays a crucial role in our family. Not rich as we are, we lead a colorful life.
Among all my personalities, I think the most obvious one is frugal. I don’t feel like wasting anything that can be saved. Actually, I usually turn off the light of the stair in the school and insist on eating up all the food on my plate. I’m also willing to open my mind to new knowledge. On the contrary, being impetuous, I like to finish my work as soon as possible. And sometimes I even do things on impulse. By the way, I enjoy listening to English songs when I’m at leisure. And I would memorize the lyrics that I like. It really helps me loosen up my brain. Beside, I find I make progress in English listening and vocabulary size. When it comes to running, I’m second of none in my hometown. Therefore, during my participation in track and field, I got many trophies and received a lot of praises. Furthermore, my parents took pride in me as well. But the most significant things I learned were teamwork and some valuable experiences.

Choosing television programs carefully is important. Though television is the most crucial channel that offers information and entertainment, there are some disadvantages of it. Some programs filled with violence and lusts have bad influence on teenagers. Spending too much time watching TV does harm to eyesight as well. Hence, we are supposed to choose television programs which are beneficial to our body and mind. Most important of all, never be a couch potato.
Translation2 draft 2
On May 20th, A-mei showed up in inauguration of a President singing the national anthem. A-mei's voice stands out among the popular singers. People might not understand why she was so famous. In fact, her singing hobby could trace back to her childhood. Owing to her perseverance of singing, and with her hardworking, she was able to fulfill her dream. Even she faced the failure; she never chose to give up. No wonder her performances were always worth being praised by her audience.

Jane, a single mother, lives with her lovely only son. They have lived happily until she received a blackmail. It indicated that if she didn't pay 1 million dollars the next day, her son would be in danger. Therefore, she turned to her best friend for help. She called Ted up and told him what she has come upon. They discussed on and on but couldn't come up with any good idea. And Jane was so worried that she wept sadly. At last, she decided to calm down and look on the bright side. As she tried to loosen up, she caught a glimpse of calendar showing April 1st. Soon she realized that she was tricked. Then, with a minute silence, she started to laugh loudly. "Happy Fool's Day", she thought.

One-day trip to Chia-yi 2007/2/17
Today is the last day of 2006. My sister (Jane) and I dicided to go to "Chia-yi" (嘉義) to go shopping. Oweing to the New Year's Eve, there was no other passengers in our car of the train. In other words, we "owned " the whole car to do whatever we wanted. I knelt on the chair, turning round to see the scenery while Jane took some quirky pictures. What an interesting experience it was. Afterward, we headed for "Chung-snan Road"(中山路) as our first destination where I got my New Year's trophy-jeans. Besides, we played "Gashapon"(扭蛋) and"UFO catcher"(夾娃娃機) ,visited fancy boutiques, etc. Hot as the weather was, we seemed to have endless vitality to discover the treasures. At about three o'clock, we went back in a content mood and an exhausted body. I bet we would keep this sweet memory in mind for good.

My six-day teeth treatment in winter vacation
Many people have experiences to see the dentist, and I'm no exception. To be frank, it has been a long time since my last time to see the dentist. Therefore, needless to say,I had a number of cavities. But I had had my heart set on to ment them all during this winter vacation. I got going after nosing into a kind doctor. On my first time to see him, I felt I had butterflies in my stomach. However, to my relief, he sure was a great doctor. He tried to ease my tension by talking to me as he checked my teeth. And thanks to my living in "Lue Gia"(六甲) where he has joined army there, we had many things to talk about. There's something I should mention that he found an enormous cavity its nerve ought to be extracted. And this was the most terrible part. I bet never would it slip my memory.First, he injected the anaesthetic into my mouth. Then he used something like "needles" to extract my nerve. "Oh my goodness", my heart shouted loudly. I was so frightened that I closed my eyes tightly. I simply couldn't help imagining what in the world he was doing. At that time, I even thought I would be frightened to death. After finishing it , he taught me how to brush teeth correctly. And the rest three days were quite simple, he mended other cavities , sharing his experiences and sometimes even jested. This was the most special winter vacation I've ever had. From it, I've learned a lesson that "Prevention is better than cure."

Pollution draft2
We face many polluted problems as the technology develops, and among all the pollutions, I think air pollution triggers the most problems. Firstly, owing to car's exhausting gas, the acid rain is getting worse and worse. Secondly, certain part of materials of the air conditioners bring about holes in ozonosphere. Furthermore, that makes our environment become a greenhouse effect. Lastly, more and more diseases appear because we no longer have fresh air. Therefore, when we benefit from the convenient technology, we should also find a good way to protect our own environment.

My bedroom draft2
My bedroom is small but comfortable. On entering my room, the most attractive thing you'll notice is the medium-sized sofa under the window on the left wall . When feeling tired,I usually sit on it to relax. On the opposite side of the sofa lies my desk where I spend much time on. My bathroom is in the right corner next to my door. And my bed that I love the most is between the sofa and the desk. On the wall on the left and opposite to the bathroom is the balcony. It has a great view of the streets. The closet that is to the left of the door is in fron of the bed. The bookshelf that keeps my books and snacks is between the door and the closet. Thought it is in no way luxurious ,it is still my favorite and sweet world.
