One-day trip to Chia-yi 2007/2/17
Today is the last day of 2006. My sister (Jane) and I dicided to go to "Chia-yi" (嘉義) to go shopping. Oweing to the New Year's Eve, there was no other passengers in our car of the train. In other words, we "owned " the whole car to do whatever we wanted. I knelt on the chair, turning round to see the scenery while Jane took some quirky pictures. What an interesting experience it was. Afterward, we headed for "Chung-snan Road"(中山路) as our first destination where I got my New Year's trophy-jeans. Besides, we played "Gashapon"(扭蛋) and"UFO catcher"(夾娃娃機) ,visited fancy boutiques, etc. Hot as the weather was, we seemed to have endless vitality to discover the treasures. At about three o'clock, we went back in a content mood and an exhausted body. I bet we would keep this sweet memory in mind for good.

My six-day teeth treatment in winter vacation
Many people have experiences to see the dentist, and I'm no exception. To be frank, it has been a long time since my last time to see the dentist. Therefore, needless to say,I had a number of cavities. But I had had my heart set on to ment them all during this winter vacation. I got going after nosing into a kind doctor. On my first time to see him, I felt I had butterflies in my stomach. However, to my relief, he sure was a great doctor. He tried to ease my tension by talking to me as he checked my teeth. And thanks to my living in "Lue Gia"(六甲) where he has joined army there, we had many things to talk about. There's something I should mention that he found an enormous cavity its nerve ought to be extracted. And this was the most terrible part. I bet never would it slip my memory.First, he injected the anaesthetic into my mouth. Then he used something like "needles" to extract my nerve. "Oh my goodness", my heart shouted loudly. I was so frightened that I closed my eyes tightly. I simply couldn't help imagining what in the world he was doing. At that time, I even thought I would be frightened to death. After finishing it , he taught me how to brush teeth correctly. And the rest three days were quite simple, he mended other cavities , sharing his experiences and sometimes even jested. This was the most special winter vacation I've ever had. From it, I've learned a lesson that "Prevention is better than cure."
